This is going to be a work in progress and I will update as I go.

P1s to X1e Exterior Upgrade
With the new H2d and H2s printers released. Bambulab has been blowing out there x1c inventory and we have seen the vendors of the X1E printer listing alot of replacement parts on their Websites. I would assume they don’t want to get stuck with parts for an obsolete model and owners of these expensive now outdated printers clearly want to keep them going for as long as possible so I assume they will stock up. I believe once these printers get upgraded to newer models we will see alot of these (just in case) parts all over ebay.
The p1s and x1c are amazing printers on their own. There are always ways to make them better. My motivation for this is:
To get bambu out of my business.
to get a orca controlled chamber heater
to get my printers on Ethernet
so have fun hacking the heck out of a printer I was just going to sell.
The goal. To take my P1s printer and make it a X1e or as close as we can get it.
I am going into this with the assumption that this printer will never be able to get onto bambu lab cloud services as I will never have a valid serial number for an X1e.
The non serial number is not something I care about this because I currently run older firmware on my machines to allow the use of lan mode and Orca slicer.
Now if your someone associated with the x1Plus opensource firmware or other group (we all known about your secret discord chats) and you want to help me get by the software limitation I am going to face please let me know.
I have also been able to source a lot of different x1c and x1e parts from eBay and Facebook groups.
For reference
I wasn’t planning on ever letting this printer see the internet in the first place but I think this doubles down on that fact.
